Vidalia Chop Wizard

I am the Queen of Kitchen Gadgets and my “Vidalia Chop Wizard” is one of my favorite and most used gadgets!

For several hours this morning I’ve been trying to figure out EXACTLY where it came from! 🤣 It has been quite the mystery! I remembered it was from Christmas and thought the year was about 2013 and I thought it was from my oldest daughter Alyssa but when I asked her – wanting to double check my facts – she said NO….So I checked with my youngest daughter Jaymie she said NO, next inline was my son Grant – He said NO… The only one left to ask was my husband and I really didn’t feel he gave it to me – I really felt it was one of my kids – BUT — I asked my husband via text message and he thought it was to be put on my wish list for Christmas….🤣 Gotta LOVE texting!!!

SO ALL this and ALL I really wanted to do was BLOG about one of my most used, favorite items and have my facts straight! I reverted to pictures – 🤣 The year was 2013 – Christmas and it was my daughter Alyssa – I should have known it was her because it is an As Seen on TV Product and SHE is the QUEEN of As Seen on TV Products!

I have a food processor/slicer BUT the food processor tends to not only chop and slice but juices the vegetables as well – I don’t want the extra juice or the mush! I found there was less mush with the Vidalia chopper and I’ve used it for a little bit of everything ~ onions, peppers, tomatoes, eggs, celery, carrots, broccoli, cauliflower, apples, strawberries ~ you name it, I’ve tried it and love it ~ plus it dices/chops things to a nice size, perfect for condiments, cooking, soups, salads and salsas! I love having diced veggies on hand for my recipes plus I really like using the fresh diced vegetables to make morning omelets, so much quicker and easier!

The cleaning is also easy. It comes with a little “comb” to scoop food out of the crevices – then I use a dish brush and finish washing by hand. It says dishwasher safe – I prefer to wash it by hand!

The Vidalia Chop Wizard has been a WELL USED  and Very Appreciated Gift!   Thank You Alyssa 💜

Bye for Now
