Hello, my name is Kim Wallace…. My family and close friends call me “Kimmie”.  I am so glad you stopped by ♥  Welcome to my Kitchen and a Glimpse into my Crazy Beautiful Life! 

While you are here pull up a chair – I hope you find a recipe or two or three,  possibly more AND I hope you find humor in my shenanigans!  With that being said,  let me start by telling you a little bit about me – problem being I’m not sure how much a bit is – I hope I can keep it short!

WHO am I?  I am a Daughter, Sister, Wife, Sister-in-Law, Aunt, Mother, Mother-In-Law and Grandmother and a Friend to ALL….I Miss and Mourn the fact that I was a Great Grand-Daughter and Grand-Daughter although I will always cherish the great memories of my time spent with them, especially my times in the kitchen and around the table!

Wife ♥ Mother ♥ Mother-In-Law ♥ Grandma (MiMi) – I am married to my lifelong best friend Eric.  Something very unique about Eric and I –  we’ve known each other our whole lives!  Together we raised 3 beautiful children  Alyssa,  Jaymie and Grant all of whom are adults now.

I was fortunate enough to be a stay at home mom and now a stay at home MiMi who enjoys watching her grand-babies on the days my daughters work!

Our daughter Alyssa is married to Tony they have a Son Wallace (Wally) who just turned a year old on July 21 – Alyssa and Tony will be expecting their second child January 2, 2020.

Our Daughter Jaymie – has a daughter of her own,  Kynlee who turned a year old on April 15.

We live in the country on family land (often referred to as our plantation) in a small town known as Dennison, Ohio!  I LOVE country living and the fact that we were able to raise our children in the country next to family has been a true blessing!

Daughter ♥ Sister ♥ Sister-In-Law ♥ Aunt –  I am very fortunate and blessed to live across the road from my Parents and my Brother and his family.   

My Parents:  Bill and Bertha Meese ♥ They are the Presidents and CEO’s of the MEESE-WALLACE Plantation – So thankful those two hooked up 54 years ago or none of this would have been possible!  HAHAHA

My Brother and his Family ♥ Bill – known to us as Billy and his wife Chris (Chrissy) – They have 4 Children – 3 of them came at once – YES we have Triplets in our Family!!!  Ryan, Alexis and Hunter they are all busy with their adult lives and careers.   Brock he’s the baby of the family and getting ready to start his senior year!

Last BUT NOT Least – My Sister-In-Law (Eric’s Sister) Valerie and her adult son Max – they live about 2 hours away from us BUT they are frequent flyers to our Crazy Plantation and ALWAYS regulars at the Holidays!

Besides being a Stay at Home Mom-Grandma, I am also a “Field Editor” for Taste of Home Magazine. It is an honor and privilege to work for such a GREAT magazine!  I love creating recipes that are simple, delicious and family friendly! 

When our children were growing up and still to this day, we are firm believers in home cooked meals and the family sitting down together at the dinner table.  Nothing makes me happier than seeing my family and friends gathered around my table enjoying a meal that I prepared!  The truth is, food makes most people happy and happy people and fun to be around!   A lot of good memories are created around the table

Quite frequently I have been asked for recipes or cooking advice, on those occasions I had thought about blogging but was never sure where I’d find the time….A few months ago Taste of Home suggested I blog….Then a few weeks ago my Son-In-Law Tony suggested I blog….So here I am – I’ve made a Page – I have tons of Recipes and Stories I can Share!   I  guess I will find/make the Time to Master the Art of Blogging and share my deliciousness!   I know I am just getting started BUT I will add recipes as time allows.   ♥   I encourage you to come back often and  browse when you can!
